The happy parade of Gothia Cup China 2018 has finished successfully
Gothia Cup China 2018 World Youth Football Tournament has been opened magnificently in Qingdao Agricultural University Stadium in 12th, August. Before the opening ceremony, there’s a happy parade which attracted 33 countries and regions’ football teams to take part in it.
In the South Square of Qingdao Agricultural University, young footballers dressed in their own characteristic clothes, waved their flags and walked happily into the main avenue.
The first team who appeared in front of people’s eyes was Indonesia. They danced and sang with traditional Bali’s style suits. This is their second time to take part in Gothia Cup China. The next one was Uzbekistan. Their squared, patterned hats and blue paisley long gown showed Uzbek unique taste completely.
Germany also attracted a lot of audiences’ attention. They will take part in B18’s games. They are also a favorite of the final winner.
The most energetic team this night must was South Africa. They have two teams to take part in different group’s matches. They sang happily on the steps and took photos with other team’s players. South African showed their passionate to everyone. Their boss also expressed that their hard training made him feel confident about their following games.
Croatia, whose national team played amazingly in the past 2018 Russian World Cup, were also highly-expected by everyone. NK Bubamara Zagreb is a team from Croatia’s capital Zagreb. They’d taken part in the Gothia Cup for many times and had sent many a young player to European professional clubs.
Chinese domestic players showed Chinese unique but various cultures. Those players who from Xinjiang worn animal masks and Xinjiang local clothes. They performed vibrantly in front of cameras. Some of Hainan’s footballers dressed in Bai or Miao ethnic robes, and some others worn the coconut-patterned shirt. Shenzhen’s players held kites as they believed it is a super cool style. Hebei’s teenagers showed the lion dance, which not only attracted photographers but also foreign players’ eyes. Inner Mongolian footballers dressed in their specific robes and handed out blue hada to other teams’ friends.
Afterwards, these teams walked though the main avenue with volunteers’ guidance and headed to the main stadium of the opening ceremony.
Footballers and fans from all over the world met together in Qingdao because of Gothia Cup China. As the slogan of the tournament saying goes: ‘Different colours, same world’. People stayed together, experienced the collision between different cultures, and enjoyed the happiness from this fantastic football event. This was an absolutely good start for Gothia Cup China.
