A twenty – year agreement
Hello,
I am Rui Pedro (Peter), Portuguese and I am 33 years old.
I want to thank you for the opportunity you gave me to write a little about my history as a Football Player, Coach and also for my passage through your extraordinary tournament (Gothia Cup) 20 years ago in Sweden.
Starting with my participation in the Gothia Cup tournament, I can say that it was an unforgettable experience for me…the football games, the friendship between the players of all the teams, the fun, the trip, the stay, the walks …all these were fantastic moments that the Tournament “Gothia Cup” provided, and that I will always be very grateful.
And because of all these moments of happiness that I had and that were very important to my growth as a young child and young player, it is an honor to be back after 20 years , now in the position of coach of a Chinese team, AWAKE F.C.
Speaking now a little of my passion for football, it was something that started very early in my life and in a natural way. Sincerely it is a passion that will last forever. I usually say that I and the ball are inseparable friends!
I started playing Football on the street with my friends, later joined a Football club and when I was 18 years old realized my childhood dream of becoming a professional football player.
Although I had a short career due to some injuries, I still had the pleasure and honor to play with many of the best players in the world today, including:Cristiano Ronaldo, (JUVENTUS).
I had the honor of being captain in many teams that I passed and of being distinguished also with the prize of BEST PLAYER of championships.
At the moment I am Football Coach in China, I have been here since 2015.
It is a great honor to be able to contribute here to the development of Chinese football.
I am sure that with the passion and commitment that I put in all the training I will see during these years many children to evolve and to become very good football players.
