The City of Shenyang

Shenyang is the capital of Liaoning Province and the largest city in the Northeast China. The city has a population of 8 million people and can be reached by approxomatly one hour flight from Beijing.

Shenyang is described as the political, economical and cultural center of Liaoning Province and is an important industrial base and also a famous historical city. The city’s has a history of more than 2 000 years and it is said to be the birthplace of Qing Dynasty. Shenyang has many cultural relics which symbolize the prosperity and subsequent decline of China’s last feudal dynasty. 

Even though the city is historical, Shenyang has made great efforts to become a modern city with lots of privileges. The city provides good lodging, dining, transportation and recreation from people from all over the world. 

The flight from Beijing to Shenyang just takes a little over one over and departures from the same terminal as all the international flights.
